Oil scavenging pump?

So it seems my little daily driver turbo project has hit a bit of a snag. Trying to retain AC/PS with an internally gated 14B, and with the manifold that I'm building for it my ONLY possible location puts the drain just above level with the top of the pan. AC forces me to put the turbo further to the left and the clutch slave cylinder blocks me from being high enough to get a good drain.
So, anyone ever use a scavenging pump? What kind did you use? Any kind of experience or input would be much appreciated.

I know it doesnt really answer any of your question but this is the pump i was looking at a few weeks ago : http://www.turbowerx.com/Scavenge_Pu.../Exa-Pump.html I was having a nightmare getting my oil return line right on my Minram so i was very close to buying this. It looks like a very good pump to me...

Holy expensive! I spent all last night searching and I found a few for around $110 that should work for what I need it to do. Bookmarks are on the other computer though.
Anyway, here's what I'm working with.

The return exit is about 1/2 above the top of the pan. I'm just not sure if I can get away with running a return line, unless I make a hard line.

I see what you mean I'm not a expert on turbochargers so i can't really say if you'd get away with it or not.
Do you mind posting up or sending me those links in a pm please ?

I believe they use this pump on a lot of the STS systems. Not a bad price.
Rather not spend the money for the lines and whatnot if I don't have to, but then again... lol.
