OBD1 ecu jumper wiring ?
so i finally got off my lasy *** and went ahead and started on the ECU side of the conversion.
i swapped the wires around. added two wires to wire up to my injectors, and i also ran the small group of wires from my engine bay to my ecu.
now i have ALL the wires labeled so i didnt have to keep referring to my laptop.
but now i was wondering if someone had pics of the actualy wiring process **as in how the wires were ran, what SPECIFIC plugs they go to**
i know i have 2 wires for VTEC. and i was wanting to use a plug from a DA harness to wire into it.
One is for the switch, one is for the solenoid.
Now the question i have is do i run one of two black ground wires to the VTEC solenoid??
IF ANYONE HAS PICTURES OF THE WIRES RAN, AND WIRED UP TO THE SENSORS IT WOULD REALLY HELP!!
i tend to work better with well written directions and pictures
thanks!

What are you even talking about? It is so simple a r... nevermind... The VTEC Solenoid gets one wire wire from ECU and it is +12v... The VTEC pressure switch is one side to ECU and the other to ground... The knock sensor is 1 wire... This has been covered thousands of times and is a cakewalk. We can't say what your wires are for the OBD-1 conversion used because it could be any brand "X" harness and even if it is a brand name harness they could use any color they want for any pinout they want...
ok you absolutely didnt answer any of my questions! lol
and i know it is so simple a retard can do it. but i guess i could always rush into things, and then make a post in a week saying "OBD1 CONVERSION done, B16 throwing code 4,743,649!!!" but no thats not what i want.
im taking my time, RESEARCHING for hours. I have my laptop RIGHT next to me whenever i am doing the wiring.
i know what wires go where. what i am asking is how do some of the people run the ground wires FROM the jumper harness.
all i was asking is HOW and WHERE do people normally run the wires and how do they have them wired up

in the jumper the group of wires you run to the engine bay there are three wires mainly used for grounds. two black, and one brown.
what my question is, is how do you specifically run these grounds. i know on the VTEC pressure switch, it uses a ground wire. so there fore i should be able to wire that right into the switch along with the (+) wire correct?

im confused? the ground wire coming off the vtec oil pressure sensor is normally grounded at the thermostat housing either way. if you want a clean install then i would suggest you splice it into the stock thermostat ground. i use a block off plug which has 2 sections. i run all my power wires and ground wires there on my stock style harnesses that i make, like in the pics below. on my tuck harnesses i use a similar style plug. less soldered wires together, means a less bulky harness.
the vtec oil sensor has 2 wires. 1 is a ground, which is spliced into the other ground wires going to the thermostat housing. the 2nd wire is a signal wire which goes directly to the ecu. so im confused when you say it would look cleaner if it ran directly to the sensor?

Sorry guess I worded that wrong. I PM'd you about wiring in a two wire plug for the pressure switch itself. I run the wire from the ecu to the switch. And then run the switch ground to the thermostat housing? And also that block off plug you ran all the power wires from all the added sensors to the distribution block and ran the grounds there as well?
Ok I totally see it now. Where can I get that white plug to use for my power sensor wires? Also those yellow wires pinned into the gray plug are those the ones left over from the injector distribution block
Power Sensor Wires??? do you mean signal wire? are you referring to the single wire on the vtec solenoid? if so, its a very common plug on our cars. take a look at your EVAP plug and you will see one there, as well as in your door. just run to the junkyard and snag one that matches up.
