I need a tach signal from the ecu... car is 96 gsr with specR 2000 swap tuned with s200... I first try the signal from the tach behind the cluster but there's too much noise in the signal. Rpm is ok at idle but going crazy when flooring up to the rev limiter. It's to hook up with an Racepak G2x data aquisition(black).

The signal I'm looking for must be 50% duty cycle, 5-18 volt square wave signal

I need help cause wiring is NOT my biggest strengh...
