Default Need JDM F22A6

I have been searching for a JDM F22A6, ( 1993 Accord EX, auto.) but have not found any available...
Except for Japan Engine, inc. They are located in CA and in business for 20 years. they have another location in OHIO. 866-532-7878. They will sell me a JDM long block for $800 delivered to me in Georgia. Forgot to ask what the core charge is. This sounds too good to be true esp with a 6 month warrenty and the motor has only 44,000 miles ???!!!

Has anyone heard of this company or done any work with them ??

Thanks...

Thanks, but I have already. There are no local JDM F22A6 locally. They have been out of stock for some time. The local yards just have cores or POS high mile motors that would be a waste of time and $$. Rebuilt longblocks are about 2K locally and on ebay too... So that is why I am trying JDM nationwide....

What's the difference between the JDM F22a6 and the USDM one? They come a dime a dozen and $800 is way too much.

Well thanks for the price reference, but they are not a dime a dozen around here for anything worthwhile for R&R. The local yards just have worn out high milage POS motors that are just good for a core... Even LKQ is out of stock....CL does not have any locally at this time....there might be one in El Paso, but it is not worth the drive........
As I stated above, most sources of JDM F22A6's are dried up. They are out of stock and/or have discontinued them due to lack of availability...guess Japan has almost used them up by now??
They are averaging 20 years old by now....

Yesterday I did find that H Motors (somewhere in the Bay Area) ((and was recommended on a poll taken on this site that I was able to find on a search)) H motors said they only had the F22A6 as a engine/auto tranny combo for $1100 plus $250 shipping to Augusta, GA area. 55,000 mile warrenty... I would go for that, but after driving the car again, (had not driven it since we bought it..as is was my sons DD ( yes it still knocks and rattles down the road for the moment) I was disappointed in finding so many other issues with the car that is is not worth 1350 & 650 for R&R. So anyone want a 1993 Accord EX ???

Thanks for the replies

I don't know who told you that, but f22a6 motors are nearly impossible to find. Jdm don't carry them.
