Default b20b or b20z into a 92-95 honda civic vx

I'd like to know all the details about this engine swap because all i know is that this swap is a lot cheaper and has significant amount of torque compared to a b18b1. For instance, I'd like to know what is a good deal on a crv b20b or b20z full swap into a 92-95 honda civic hatchback. I know that it cost about $575 + shipping just for the long block at hmotor, some crap like that. Also, how much should i expect to pay for a 94 ls ecu, ls transmission, and shift linkage, and axles, and motor mounts? In addition to that, how much improvement should i see in terms of performance and stuff like that? You know, pro and cons to the engine swap. By the way, will there be a problem since my civic is obd1? Last of all, do I also need to upgrade the brakes and radiator because of the extra weight and power? Again, any information is helpful, thank you! Does it seem like I have some knowledge about this swap because I really want to do this swap! ****, most important of all, Is this swap even legal in the state of Washington and has this swap been able to pass smog testing in a civic?

it costs pretty much the same or alittle more than an LS swap but yes more torque, id go for a b20z if you can they have the most power, if you have a d16 vtec motor in it now then you wont see much of a difference other than torque... i can keep up with ls's and b20 swapped civs with my I/H/E d16z6

I'll see if I can get my hands on a b20z because it is a bit more pricy compared to a b20b. However, hp makes up for it because I read an article on a review and it took the b20b in a crv around 10.8 seconds to get to 60 and a b20z crv 8.4 seconds to reach 60 mph. That's almost a two in a half second difference!

I think that they over price a b16 transmission because I can't find one at a decent price range, period! On the other hand, a ls transmission is a win, win for me because I can afford it.

The B20z has higher compression there fore more hp. I had a b20b in a ek with a gsr tranny and loved it. You can get around town shifting under 2500rpm and still have pickup. If you go with a b20z you have to convert everything to obd1. Also an ls intake manifold. If you go with a b20b you wont be dissapointed.
