The missing part is actually very important. The 4 pin cable connects to cn2 which allows the s200 to function. Without it the s200 is useless.

its s200. throw it away. its trash. just one big expensive piece of dog dung. looks like an old setup, i havent seen an ATMEL eprom in a few years.
s200 isn't exactly trash. Romeditor v4 works well for most basic applications...

thanks guys. your right thc07. its going in the trash. i only paid 50 for it along with the p28. i can get a bill easy for the ecu so i should be ok. my tuner will be tuning my car on chrome so no need for this s200. that being said i would like to know what wire goes where on the circuit board so i can have it fixed for trade bait. any idea where to get this. should i register on the hondata forums? thanks.

ok after a few hours on Google i came up with this. from the images i seen on the web it looks as if the wires in the cn2 cable turn downward at a 90 degree angle and hit the board in this position. can someone confirm this. my computer guy can solder this in a few mins if this is correct. thanks a lot Mtber.

hell yea son!!! he literally did it in a few moment while i ate a few tacos. i will be using this on my build instead of chrome.
You could do the same with freeware huh? and just as easy.
I would have told him to sell or fix and sell to some other poor fool, but im not that kind of guy. Im not like Hondata is in the industry.
It belongs in the trash along with other over rated over priced Hondata products. If you wanna argue the integrity of Hondata... Im all ears.
I mean no offense to the OP. most people dont know any better and really have no reason to know better.
