Im new on here and I have a 95 cx hatch with a d15b2, and i was just wanting some advise on which header, exhaust system would be best. It has a setup already but it was already there when i bought it. and at about 3k rpms it makes a stupid bee sound and has no cat on it!

Best for what? With that engine I'd restore it to stock.

Indeed, bolt ons on a d-series are a waste. Amounts to flushing money down the toilet.

a d15 is a gutless *****.
great for MPG not for performance without spending enough to buy 3 cars.

you sound alot like me awhile ago. lol
do a B swap first just so know how to tackle a task like that
when i wanted a K a friend sraight up told me no! he said he wasnt gonna let me ruin my car, a K motor, or my wallet. just drop in a B its that easy, k's need alot of fab.n then when you do go k youll know what your doin.
(i dont know you or your level of mechanical experiance, im not sayin you cant do this!, but if you are new to hondas it be a big headache)

^ good luck finding one.

If you want it to sound a little louder than stock get the Thrush Turbo muffler from advance auto, find the biggest one and have someone weld it on. Mine sounded a little deeper and got rid of that annoying bee sound. I had no cat, just a resonator.

Well im actually in school for automotive technology, so i would say a beginner. lol. i have been around hondas for my entire life basically i have tinkered around a little. had some exhaust problems, but got that worked out, and i have had to fix the shift linkage. i have been in a cross between a k and b. Money aint a prob. So i could just go b series since its easier. Thanks for the opinions and input. greatly appreciate it.

What?

Sure, but it won't be nearly as reliable or idle nearly as smooth. A high strung B-series will make 200whp, where a stock k20 will make 200whp+

Your case would be a lot easier by saying an h2b would make similar power for less.
