Welding back motor mount in Si
So I noticed play in my motor mounts. I jacked up the car, put it in gear and rocked the tire back and forth pretty good, and watched my motor go back and forth more then normal.
I have an idea, what wanted to know opinions if it would work. Car 1999 Si. All the mounts look good, but the back mount is shot, and a torque mount is loose.
I am thinking about taking the back mount under the intake, and welding it solid, then window weld or equivalent the front torque mounts under the car, and the tranny mount. Because all the mounts are fine except the back one.
Or should I go a differnt route? Vibrations dont bother me much. I just wont want it to be TOO much.
