fuct up while removing hatch tint
I bought the car with purple tint, and i wanted to take the purple off and eventually get black. well while i was taking the hatch tint off i slipped with the razor and it cut the black off the defroster lines. the orange is still there, but the black is gone. will it still work? did i mess it up?
I doubt it will still work, but don't fret. Locate a small bottle of defroster grid repair epoxy and fix it. I use the stuff to short the L1 contacts on AMD Athlon processors. Very easy stuff to work with, and nearly any auto parts shop should have it or be able to obtain it for you.
Yeah, I have tint on my rear hatch too that I want to ditch very VERY badly. How do I take it off? Razor? Someone told me a toothbrush and a lot of time.
What's the easiest/safest way?

Why don't you take it to a shop? They used a heat gun when I had the tint removed from my windows. Fast & effective, cost $20. Plus if they mess up your rear defroster you can hold them accountable...maybe.
i guess you have two options...i say you take it to the shop and have it professionally taken off for $20-$30...but if you wanna save money and have extra time, grab a hair dryer and heat the tint...take the razor and start peeling the tint...if the tint is hot enough, itll come off really easy....hope this helps
