Default Crank pos sensor test

I have a 98 honda accord LX 2.3L does anyone have a test to see is the sensor is bad before I go and drop the cash for a new one. I an getting a P1361 Top Dead Center (TDC) Sensor Intermittent Interruption. the car runs fine until you get to 3k rpm and them it just stumbles. I just did the timing belt and I wiped the sensor clean. The car has 235K on it so I am thinking that one of the wire broke inside the insulation and that is throw in code. does anyone have a way to test the sensor before I go drop the money for a new one...Thanks for the help

A DSO will be needed to see if the signal is falling out and if it is in sync with cam sensor.(there is an ohms test, but this test will only give you the static state of the sensor. It can easily pass the ohms test and still have a problem) Ohms values are 1850-2450 between pins 1 and 2. However I would suggest you double check your work. make sure you have no broken wires and that the sensor is plugged in all the way.
