Just wondering if anyone has tracked an all motor single cam? If so how was it? Better then a dual or the same? What kinda mods did you have done to it? If there is another thread with these question post for me yeah? Thanks.

What type of track are we talking 1320 or circuit?

There is a N/A SOHC F series powering Bisi Ezerioha's 9.36 second insight. It's far from stock though! Sleeves, Hi comp pistons, lightweight rods, race cam, race valve train, individual throttles (IIRC his record breaking run was with side draft carbs) and it's Non VTEC.......

Sigh

The search function did not provide you with like a MILLION answers to this question?

SOHC 1.6L motors are a WASTE in this day and age when H2B swaps put 300+whp in your sights

No reason to use a SOHC motor for NA duty short of building a HUGE accord motor like Bisi did - the tiny SOHC all motor setups died off in the 90's ...when 13 sec sohc NA setups were like black magic - Just start off with more cubes and youll hit your target with less mods and more reliability/less revs

Search H2B - use your SOHC motor to get really good gas mileage in a daily beater

Not really sure about autocross, bro. I do think that dif. motors/swaps put you in more competitive classes. Lots of people race with stock d series. Still fun man, its racing your car. Be ready to drop serious bones to mod a bseries to compete with EVOS, Imprezas, etc. Also track days CAN be expensive, something else to think about. Thats all I know. Also let me know if Im being misinformative.
