can someone please point me in the direction of a thread regarding wiring a different combination switch into a CRX or civic since i am assuming it is along the same lines.

i have a hatch now with no wiper and i am replacing it with a hatch that has a wiper. i have the combination switch and the part of the harness that goes to it but i would rather not replace the WHOLE harness if necessary

You can technically get a wiper switch from any one.

Crx, Hatch and sedan,

the combination switch is a 3 part switch. you can just unscrew the wiper part, unplug the harness and replace it.

Just make sure you get the wiper switch that matches yours. If yours has rear wiper get the one that has that.

 

maybe i worded that wrong.... i am trying to convert from not having a wiper in the rear to a hatch that has a wiper in the rear. i have the combination switch that is for the wiper [so it has two seperate switches] and i need to know how to wire it into a harnes that didnt have a rear wiper.
