Harness question
I just put a OBD0 Integra DA motor into my 88 crx SI. the harness that was on that motor would not work with the car because it had clips that didnt even exist on the car.
heres the story i bought the crx with a LS motor that has rod knock, then i got a donor motor from a teg, it came with a harness too but it wont work on the crx. i thought all OBD0 harness's were teh same. anyways I do have the harness that originally came with that crx it did work but it was really really shitty spliced/wires ripped hanging etc.. so i did some repairs to it but now im just having a difficult time determining which plug goes to what sensor since its all just chopped modified. i peeled back the loom so i can see the original wire colors and hopefully someone can tell me what wire colors go to which sensor and what not, keep in mind im not really even sure what harness i have i just know that it plugs in and runs.

There are several different harnesses for OBD-0 cars... Civic/CRX DX/STD, Civic/CRX Si, CRX HF for starters... Let alone Integras, Preludes, Accords, ect.... Essentially you always use the engine harness for the vehicle you have (Not for the engine) and modify it as needed. Figuring out the sensors is easy... If it runs just lable them as you pull them off and repair as needed. Some wires are the same color so it really isn't going to help a lot unless you take the time to probe...

your not missing it. on all 88-91 civic/crx cars the map sensor wiring is not part of the engine harness, its part of the main harness. the TPS is part of the engine harness
here you go just search on google 0bd0 pinout diagram
if i was you i would go to the junkyard look for 88-89 crx si or 89 civic si engine harness. after you find one label it as you take it off.

Yes, under the hood coming from the passenger shock tower. The TPS is on the engine harness with Green, Red, Yellow wires... (if memory servers the stripes are white, blue, white respectively).
Unfortunately, most of these do not match the plug side (on engine harness) when it comes to colors...
also is this the wiring for the map (if memory servers the stripes are white, blue, white respectively). incase the clip is cut off
You need to learn how to read... I said the MAP comes off the shock tower... The TPS wiring is from the engine harness. The colors of the TPS wires should be Green with a white stripe, Red with a blue stripe, and Yellow with a white stripe... I am too lazy to look at one of my cars right now to tell you all the exact colors... Why don't you post pictures and we can help you better. My cars aren't hacked so who knows what they did to your stuff.
