Default First Time, Detail

After being inspired by PandaMan and after months of research I pulled the trigger on a Porter Cable 7424 and lake country pads from autogeek. First, my miata had very bad oxidation and terrible water spots especially on the hood and trunk.

This his how the process went.
1. Washed with dish soap.
2. Clayed with blue magic clay bar and lube
3. Lake country coarse green pad with Meguiars m105 (speed 5)
4. Lake country white pad with Meguiars m205 (speed 5)
5. Lake country red pad with some turtle wax paste I had. (speed 3)

This maita had a single stage paint and man did those pads get dirty. I had to wash them twice in between use to remove the nasty dirty leftover paint. They say pictures are worth a thousand words.
