D15B2 pulleys on D16z6?
I am swapping to a D16z6 in my EF and there is an engine I found for sale for a good price for what it is. But it doesn't have a crank pulley and no cam gear. Is one or both interchangeable?
^Are you sure? I could've sworn all 88-95 camgears are one and the same and the crank pulleys, although slightly different in design, still have the same timing marks and are interchangeable between DX/LX/EX/Si...
Ef has that little piece to keep pulley on the crank forgot what its called the rest don't I wouldn't do it but hey its not my car go to the junk yard n grab one

i have a d15b2 or b1(forgot which one) on my z6 you have to use a smaller woodruff key. im pretty sure i used the b2 one and not the z6 key. have pic if you dont believe.
I am curious of this. I heard it was bad because of some harmonic dampener in the pulley on the z6/y8, but nobody really knew for certain.
Can anyone shed some light on this? I have a B2 pulley, and it is so nice and light compared to the y8 pulley... not a big gain, but a free gain none-the-less.
Is it really that bad if it can be done?
nitewolf, post up some pics!!!
