Interesting question, why you asking? I can tell you how to differentiate between atts and non don't know about the vin though, aren't all Japanese Vin's the same?

 

jdm engine code's a h22a, as opposed to us ones are h22a4/a1...you dont want atts from what i here, just get an lsd tranny...i have a engine swap for sale, better prices then you'll find, i have everything you need and more

also i think the serial starts w/J for japan and 1 for america

Ive never heard of a Type S jdm h22a being for sale, the one that uses ATTS.

What we like to call the "Type S" jdm H22a is really from a SIR S-spec prelude.

 

i went to huntington to my buddy's house after meeting up with travis the other day, well anyway, one of his stunna friends just picked up an H22 for his accord, and swore it was JDM with lsd and what not I tried to explain to them that if it was JDM the block would be stamped only H22 instead of H22a4 which was stamped. But he still swears up and down its JDM due to the JDM valve cover

 

to tell if its lsd, just look though the tranny where the axels go in, if you see all the way though, then its lsd, if its got a bar though the middle its unlimited slip
