I am curious about how well this drives as well. I know it keeps you straight, but is it like a fight to get turned around to re-stage for the next run? And what ring gear does it fit?

I did not use this one personally. I bought the trans with it in it. It is in good condition. It works just as designed....equal power down at all times. Of the cars I have driven with a spool, it requires a little extra effort to turn around, but never even thought about it when I was driving it. You can still do a U turn within two lanes of roadway. It's that is too much work for you....sell your car and buy a minivan. haha

Seriously though, it just takes a little getting used to, but it's just like getting a lowered car....get used to going slow over speed bumps...then you never think anything of it again. Same with a spool.
