I have a few coil packs they are the tec TC-08A packs . I cant seem to find the ohm rating these are supposed to be at when testing with a multimeter .

I just took mine to autozone and had them test mine for me.

 

ya they said they could only test the ICM ( Ignition Control Module )

i was looking to use a multimeter and do a ohm test on the coilpacks . thing is i dont know what they are all supposed to read at ?

maybe ill grab a working pack and test the ohm rating on it then goto nonworking one and test it

 

anyone know the ohm rating to test the coil packs i got ?

FYI, you can have an ignition coil that tests good and actually be bad. I replaced a ton of parts trying to figure it out, was the coil all along. I don't remember the ohms, but it was in spec so keep this in mind. It would misfire or not start when very cold outside.
