Not sure if your version of the Demon is bluetooth out of the box. There is a bluetooth module for the demon that you can buy. Not sure about the tunerview though....

The Demon kit comes with the extra port if it wasn't installed by the person you purchased it through. It's in the plastic bag with the chip kit.

are you talking about the black connector. i installed that in the datalogging port of my first ecu, before i switched to the p72.

james can you post a picture of the moduel you need to use to run the demon with tunerview.

i am trying to find the easiest was to have the demon installed with the tuner view and bluetooth adapter

In the bag is the 4 pin straight connector for the ECU @ CN2 and a 4 pin right angle connector, which is what goes in that extra space on the Demon. You definitely didn't use it on a previous ECU, as the right angle connector doesn't fit at CN2.

I'm not sure what you're asking. You can only have one peripheral plugged into the Demon at a time. TunerView or Bluetooth. You can, however, plug the bluetooth into the peripheral port of the TunerView to allow datalogging from it, but you will not be able to make changes this way.

ok, now i am understanding better. thanks James. i think i do still have that angle connector.

so basically the tuner view and bluetooth model would hook into the same port

so if i wanted to tune my ecu via bluetooth and have it hidden away, i could not install the tuner view? can i hook the bluetooth unit to my demon to talk to my computer for tuning and hook another bluetooh receive to the tunerview for it to pick up the datalogs.

Correct.

What I said in my last post describes the scenario completely.

i totally understand what you are saying. and not to beat a dead horse but do you think this will work

hard wire the tuner view into the cn2 port on the deamon

the connect the mini usb port on the back of the demon (usb cable output ) to a bluetooth adapter.

The Demon is not a USB host, so a slave device won't work on the USB port. If your Bluetooth adapter also had a USB host on it, then it could host the Demon.

I am in the same boat as yours. Did you manage to get both the Tunerview and the Laptop connect wireless to the Demon?

AFIK, bluetooth is a point to point connection between 2 hosts ONLY. In no way can you share 3 connections without processing and data re-transmission provided by one of the hosts.

Simple answer, never going to happen.
