how to tell dpfi and mpfi TO obd1 jumpers apart
hey guys working on a customers car.. he had the swap done at a garage.. they failed.. never conected the jumper harness in..lol anyways just finished wiring and tuck...
how to tell if the jumper is the right one?
it was missing the tdc wire going to the b11 pin on the obd1 harness clips and the wire that was conneceted a LG1 logic ground.... only code is 9.. and car runs fine.. dizzy tesed good and harness in car and engine tested good.. just jumper is f*cked..
??? thanks in advance guys. going to re post in tech section to get more eyes on this..

There is no such thing as a DPFI to MPFI jumper. You do that on the OBD-0 vehicle harness ECU plugs. If it was DPFI you have to add the 2 injector wires, and the 2 wires for the crank sensor. It sounds like you crossed the wires for the distributor to be getting a code 9. So the only jumper I assume you have is OBD-0 to OBD-1?
