Default ITR valves questions? thanks.

1. Do I need to change the ITR valve guides when fit ITR inlet valves in B16 head.

2. Are the length of ITR inlet valves and B16 are the same, so can I still use the stock valve adjustment?

Thanks

25 views, and no replies eh?
Its probably because of this..
1. Do I need to change the ITR valve guides when ITR inlet valves in B16 head.
I think you're missing a word or two.

To answer your 2nd question.. ITR & B16a valves are the same length, and "valve adjustment" is simply setting the lobe-to-rocker clearance. If its off clearance, it will make too much noise, and you'll probably lose efficiency.
Use the same settings provided in your manual no matter what valves you have. You would only use different settings if you had custom or aftermarket camshafts.

Thanks for the reply
Back to Q1. I have heard all B-series exhausts valves are the same, but ITR one are ligther if its OK if i just fit the Intake side and leave the ex side at stock. The CTR piston, JUN'3 and Ti-retainers and spring will fit at the same time.
