ran a 15.0 with very, i mean very bad wheel hop.. it was like erf quake, and with the 16inch spoons. hopefully get some Z10s up front

HMM.. my good friend had same problem in his si, though he got the comp. eng. bars and they did not help much, from doing research into the problem i have come to conclusion that it has to do with front suspension and aligment! Cheap shocks up front (kyb, etc...) may be problem, and i also recomend getting camber corrected and front end aligment if your car has been lowerd!! good luck, eric

My cousin has the exact same swap as you, he is running 17 inch Kosei K-1 with Yokohama a520s at the time....the best that he could pull was a 14.9...he said he had trouble getting off the line too.....

why do people keep calling coupes "JDM"???? there ARE NO COUPES IN JAPAN!

and yeah, why bother buying an Si if you were gonna pull out a perfectly good b16 motor and throw in a B18C-R.... you might as well have bought an HX. HX is lighter too. but then again you might as well have bought a hatch. to each his own..

and to everyone surprised at 15.0 - that sounds about right. the coupe aint light.
