Default Can I use carb cleaner on my cone?

Just noticed my air filter cone is kind of dirty. Would it be alright to spray it down with carb cleaner?

It is one of those K&N knockoffs you get at O'rielly, vector I think? I just have an extra can of carb cleaner sitting around and I wanted to know if it would hurt anything before I spray it.

Don't do that.If you really want the engine to breathe properly don't get the cheep ones.Even if you clean it with the soapy water the grill will rust and block the surface.
