Well, you can't let this racing crap sit around too long or it turns into a garage monument.

Trashing the car was pretty frustrating, especially after all the development. I've been stalling with a bunch of "while the car is apart" stuff, and I realized it would be 2 years before the thing turned a wheel on track if I kept up my pace. So the list is shortened considerably, austerity measures imposed on the budget, and a parts list is partly complete.

Running NASA PT means I don't need a lot of HP, just that it needs to be consistent and reliable. I'm thinking about dumping the piggyback fuel computer and going back to stock rev limits, especially with my 130k mile motor. The previous owner dropped a valve and redid the head probably 1500 racing miles ago. He thought the motor was running too lean, but I think it was the lack of an oil cooler and 120k+ street miles. Anyone see a problem with running a worn out stock ITR motor on stock electronics? I run a comptech header with a one chamber flowmaster that turns down in front of the gas tank and a no name short ram intake. Other than pulling out all the Evap and crank vent emissions its completely stock.

A rebuild is scheduled, but for now it reliably burns one quart of oil per hour.

I need a few parts:
Pass front trans mount
Power steering cooler and hoses
Power steering reservoir to PS pump hose.
Decent oil cooler that would fit in the nose of the Integra
Really good stock crank damper for cheap.

For sale
Electric PS setup. No time to do this the way I had planned. Need the cash. PM me

Its so ironic that I knew both of your cars in their former lives. Glad to see you are getting all back together Scott.

for a good solid quality cheap oil cooler, i'd HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recomend the biggest B&M supercooler they sell. they have a models that are ONLY trans-coolers,dont get that...get the regular oil cooler ones.

-easy to mount
-well built. very impressive.
-keeps my turbo accord-engine civic's oil at 210-220 for 25 minute sessions on a 90 degree day. no-oil-cooler and it would be over 300 degrees 10 minutes in.
-cheap.
-nice looking actually.

I have a Setrab Oil Cooler I can sell you. It's 14.09" wide, 6.06" high and 2" thick. It's never been used. Retails for $250

I just removed my PS hardware and still have it sitting in the garage. I have the reservoir and hoses. with cooler - never had any problems with the system, just removed it. I may have cut one hose near the rack and I will have to check.

PM me if interested - then I can grab the box and see what I have.
