Story:
ok heres how it start....
im a young teenager (no need for bashing) and i got a job with a friend at a mechanic shop.
(My buddy has always been into sporty cars FYI)
and on day i saw this blue car sitting in the back of the shop and i was like o wow looks kinda cool
started checking it out and wondering what was wrong with it, i knew he owned the car but i was like why wouldnt he drive it around it used to be pretty clean. he told me it over heated and blew the gasket and had just been parked for 3+ years,
so i was just aiming to see if i could get it running in normal condition and as the tear down began we noticed more and more things we could do
and i took the lead in the project and the car was gifted to me
and it worked its way into its new home of my garage and this is it slow but sure build.
ok so now that we have that out of the way
im going to set some goals here that are completely open to your opinions so please provide them
Goals:
•strip the interior(in progress)
•drop the engine to rebuild (in progress)
•mild wire tuck (in progress)
•new sunroof(done) (want to replace with cf (not plug))
•rear disk conversion(gathering parts)
•all around bushings
•recoat under coating
•paint
•relocate battery(in progress)
wish me luck ;P and as i said im open to ideas

ok so right now i have the sunroof taken out and i need to fine out how to fix the rails and i want to find a nice cheep carbon fiber replacement (not a plug) the sun roof had a short somewhere in the cables so i rewired the sun roof just to open and close im hopefully gonna get a new dashboard
ok so tomorrow im planning on dropping the old rear suspension and replacing the drum brakes with disk brakes but i also want to eventually get a better sway bar and bushing set and sub frame brace any recommendations
ok so i i guess the head gasket on this car is blown :/ so the heads gonna get taken off and its gonna get rebuilt or cleaned and re(faced or surfaced) one of those lmao and its gonna be put back on then it should be running perfectly then i need to go get the headers and rest of the exhaust fitted with a straight pipe cuz the cat got stolen :/ but im afraid its gonna be loud with the fart can it has on it now
so today i pressure washed the rear suspension and sanded the trailing arms and took out the bushings put 1 coat of primer and 2 coats of black paint i used dupli-color high temp paint says 500 degrees so we'll see i plan on painting everything black and calipers blue
1st coat of primer
last coat of black

who knows what hell the other owner did to the suspension from the crx i got these from the trailing arm bushings were already ripped

That doesn't necessarily mean the owner abused the car. Those trailing arm bushings are always torn on just about every EF I've ever seen with a decent amount of miles.
Ok so this is my wiring plan
the alternator will no longer be running to the fuse box but im not sure if that will cause the check engine light or not but it is the only way to run zero gauge does anyone else know a different way to do this (the battery will also be moved to the trunk)
and i would also like to know how should i fuse the setup

Why exactly are you set on running 0 gauge?
You seriously don't need that thick of wire.
Your alternator can't pump out enough current to even come close to needing that.

because later on i want to swap the alternator for a higher output one and because i want to get good sound system
