Well, I JUST received my b18c (SiR-g) motor and it has the factory LSD, I'm more of a circuit kinda guy. So I'm hoping this does the trick for me.

The bottom line is: with a LSD, you have twice as much traction vs. an open diff. because you splitting the torque between both wheels instead of one.

60 ft. times drop with a LSD.
Torque steer is greatly reduced with a LSD.
Passenger side front tires last longer with LSD...

The only 4 mods I can think of that would make you faster without adding power are:
LSD
Final drive
1-5 gear ratios
tire size (dia.)

Scott, if chassis and front wheels are equally loaded, a LSD isn't much up unless one wheel breaks loose.

25 cents of washers to change sway bar preload does wonders for traction.

HOWEVER you still risk the chance of exploding the spider gears....or twice like I did

OP, get your alignment checked. I don't care what LSD you have short of a spool if alignment is wrong you'll never get traction.
