So I called a Lamborghini Dealer in Toronto (Lamborgini toronto Lawrence ave) asked them about Reventon-Metalic, wether it could be purchased by the pint, to repaint the TEAL BEAST (see garage) of course they didnt know and put me on hold, then returned to say the vin number would be required to purchase the paint, AKA they only sell it to owners of a Reventon-Metalic painted Reventon.

Though dejected I am determined to paint it this color, but I know its not as simple as painting it flat grey and then clear, but would be willing to take those steps.

So my question is Does Flat paint even clear well? will it still just look like flat paint, a few coats of clear should add something to it I would think, not doing a primer grey its more of the darker flat paint but not flat black, ive seen some old rat rods painted this color.

Just want something original for this town im in, I will be doing my own painting since I have all the gear.

 

You can buy flattening agent for the clear. You will need to practice to see what mixtures produce the sheen you are looking for.
