89 CRX Si Paint Correction
I thought you guys would like this. My dad currently owns 4 crx's. This is a yellow 89 (I think) Si w/ 170k miles on it. Its almost all original besides koni shocks and neuspeed springs.
A few pics from a mild paint correction we did while I was in CT. I ordered a porter cable 7464 da along with some products...unfortunately I ordered the wrong pads so we were only able to achieve 40-50% correction. As you can see from the pics...there was pretty severe damage to the clear coat...from years of improper washing. My dad now knows how to wash his cars properly...so this shouldn't happen again.
Process was m105, m205, chem guys blacklight sealant, poor boys liquid blue wax...unfortunately I ordered a pad that didn't have enough cutting power...so correction was somewhat limited.
On with the pics.

Interior pics will follow.

Here is the for sale link: http://www.hondamarketplace.com/show....php?t=2966211
Each clearcoat is a little different so it just takes trying a few different combinations to get it right.
With this car, I'm sure the orange or yellow pad would have cut much better than what we had...which was a pad designed for a product like meguiars m205.

Thought about moving back to DE, and then I might be willing to drive up for it.
