Car won't start without bump starting

1990 CRX HF with JDM B16 only works if I pop start. Why?

its cuz thats the wrong motor for the car so the vtech wont let it start

check your power cable to starter bruh lol

and grounds! i didn't install the transmission or valve cover ground on my motor and it wouldn't start at all

Figured out problem.
If the doors are left open over night, can that drain the battery?
