VIS SiR Hood CR-X
i purchased a VIS hood nearly a year ago, quick and simple it doesnt sit flush. Along the fenders as well as around the headlights. Is this common, any trimming that can sit it flush? It doesnt appear to be resting on anything, only thing i can figure, bad apple??
My guess is frame damage. Been wrecked before the jap conversion. Thanks for the offer but I enjoy the hood regardless. Plus I spent a fortune on it.
Oh and fyi, "jap" is a word some people will find very offensive.

Its definitely from the crash because the headlight doesnt line up very clean and looks pushed back in a angle
Oh and to fix it either u need to pull something or mess around with adjusting the light's screws or if the the bracket is damaged u need 2 replace it

almost no carbon fiber hood fits and its not that you got a bad apple, its that the company re-uses the mold over and over again and doesnt change it eventually the mold starts to change shape (inside source from vis), i guess if you got on of the first ones it would sit better.
