Default Good machine shop? (Western WA)

My engine was sitting at Bud's in Lakewood for over 4 months with no work done to it, so I'm looking for a new shop. Any recommendations?

If you go to DG Machine expect to wait a long time and way over priced. I took my block there and it took 5 months for them to finish it, they also didn't even assemble it like i told them to either. Every time i called all they said it would be done in a couple days but it never was finished. They kept giving excuses to why it was not done yet.

Use DG, but do it through SpeedFactory for faster service

yep if you go through a company the work usually gets done fast..i go through ASP..i believe the guys name is Doug, but he says the person who does the work for him only does honda stuff like Wednesdays and Thursdays if i could remember correctly. So w/e you bring in to him just adds to the waiting line. Got my block, bored, honed for $100 and two weeks

Thanks for the replies. I'll be patient if I take it to DG. Out of curiosity, has anyone tried the machine shop at Highland East Auto Parts in Renton?
