how to make IAB via VTEC obd1 ecu HONDA
need:
resistor 5w 33omh (ceramic)
diod
transistor IRF9630 p channel
advantage of this scheme over the relay circuit - there is no electromagnetic interference that kill datalog when you switch VTEC
developer - Gek

A4 - VTEC output
А25 - +12v
thanks to GEK, SHURIK+, me and ALL

What are you referring to as IAB? Only time I've seen this acronym used in relation to Honda/Acura, is for the Intake Air Bypass found in the GSR Intake Manifold
i am not good at reading schematics. seems pretty simple. but if you can, can you snap some pictures
There is a step by step on PGM-FI for adding the IAB circuit components on to certain P06, P28 and P75 OBD1 ECU main boards. Depending on the board version, there are a few that have the circuit, they just need a few components added in order to enable them.
I think the above posted diagram is for controlling IAB's via tapping into the VTEC circuit. Instead of actually having a separate IAB circuit. Therefore they would engage at VTEC crossover.

Thing is, it's never information I'm necessarily looking for but it always makes for a good addition to the knowledge bank.

Pretty sure that the parts list on pgmfi is only for the 11F0 version ecu and incomplete unless its the 11F0 p28 ecu.
I hooked IAB w/ vtec before. Great results
