I have a 97 Civic EX sedan that I have put back together using eBay & junkyard parts... My OEM deck has a light on that doesn't light up when the car is off & locked. Did all the civic's come with this light or just the ones with the factory alarm??? The car does have key-less entry, my lights & horn do not flash or beep when I lock & unlock the car with the remotes... Is there something that needs to be plugged up or a fuse I need to put in?????

Your best bet is to find a good quality alarm system and wire it in yourself. To do a good install, you should pull the dash out and wrap the wires up with the stock harness to hide them. Then tuck the alarm system somewhere hard to get to. They can be pretty small, so I suggest behind the big climate control box
