rear window to permanently stay up/shut
i purchased an EG and the rear driverside window is jacked up. it remains half open and does not roll when i turn the level. i basically need this to stay shut permanently so rain does not get in... how do i do this?
Here is what I did. If the system has not been to messed up, pull the panel , physically work the glass up and down and watch where the control wires feed out and feed into the roller. Slip off the plastic connection piece and pull in around to the outside window crank bolts. I loosened one of them up and slid the wires under that and locked the wires from moving. This kept the window up. Leave off the window crank. Found the same side door in the salvage yard a few weeks later and remove everything after checking it was working perfectly. Use those reprints RonJ posted and install the whole thing. RonJ post some excellent , invaluable drawings.
