It felt like my clutch went out last night then it wouldn't start? My car is z6 swapped we checked the cable and all obvious elements. And to boot it wouldn't start back up? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks

 

sounds like you have 2 different issues here. first check for the normal fuel and spark then come back and report your findings. there is not much to go off of from the description that you provided.

 

check the clutch pedal, they are known to break and in turn you loose the clutch cable and the clutch start switch located at the top of the pedal.

Ya the clutch start switch can be shitty. Mine has to be replaced really soon before I just get stuck someplace.

 

does it crank over ??? if it doesnt and all you hear is the main relay clicking check your starter connections and the clutch switch

 

I got a good look by the pedal assembly and there is a weld broke on the bracket. So when I was trying to push in the pedal it was just bending the bracket and not engaging the clutch. Good call on the clutch pedal being broken something so stupid caused so much mayhem. Now hopefully the whole dash and steering column don't have to come out to fix it we'll see I guess... Thanks again for all your advice I'll write soon to let everyone know how hard or hopefully easy it was.
