my 00 ek b20 the D is blinking when i put the car in drive

 

Pull the CEL codes. A transmission code is being thrown.

 

If it's a B20 in a '96 - '00 it's going to continue to blink. It's near impossible to do an automatic B-series swap and have it work properly.

 

also when i put the car in drive and put my foot on the gas the car will not go it takes a while to accelerate?? anyone know why

 

Did you just recently swap it? If so did you fill the torque converter with Honda ATF before putting everything together?

 

almost a year ago and it jus started acting funny "d" light blinks and when i put my foot on the gas it takes a while to accelerate all the other gears work fine

 

Ok so I got a b20 & ls trans. When I turn the car on the "d" light blinks when I put the car in drive and press the gas the car doesnt wanna move. I half to start it in second to drive it.any help? Its a 00 ek with a b20 swap ls trans

Are you under the impression that the blinking D4 light and driving problem are unrelated?

 

Any1 know what the problem could be?

I'll try my best to make this simple for you. (based on 94EG8's post)

1) The blinking D4 light indicates that the ECU and transmission are unable to communicate with each other.

2) As long as the D4 light blinks, the car won't be driveable.

3) There is no simple solution for the D4 blinking light in your automatic B-series swap.

4) You needed to do more homework before you decided to do an automatic B-series swap.
