mine used to and still comes on....ever since i got on my rear lower tie bar...i think it pinches one of the wires or connections or something in the rear. If you dont have the rear lower tie bar, then i wouldnt know. fluid maybe?
The car is totally stock. You think it's the fluid? The car is a 97 with less than 100k miles. Does it go bad that fast?
Check your brake fluid level and your ABS brake fluid level. If those are o.k. then short the SCS connector (the same one you use to pull engine codes from your ecu) and turn on the key. Watch the ABS light and count the blinks-long blink equals tens and short blinks equal ones. Get your hands on a manual and see what your ABS code is indicating. That should get you pointed in the right direction.
on my 97 CL the light cam on and i took it to acura... they had to replace the air bag, dont ask me but they did and the light was off, but now like a year later it is back on but im not under waranty
i hope it is just something simple this time

I been having the same prob, I've had no probs with the braking too, I'm gonna check it out soon,
hopefully it's just the fluid
this same thing happened to my cousin's Camry a few years back, when it was about the same milage as my Teg right now, he took it to the dealer they poured a bit of fluid in and that light never came back.

If you hear a "buzzing" sound when you first start your car this is the ABS system pressurizing. This only pertains to '94-'97 Integras, because they have a different ABS system from the '98-'01 Integras and '97 Type-Rs. The '94-'97 Integra's ABS system has a seperate brake fluid reservior (#3 in diagram below). The ABS brake fluid should be bleed and flushed periodically to remove air from the system. If you hear the buzzing for more than a couple of seconds (~2-5 sec.), this is a good indication that the ABS system needs to be bleed. Now if you hear the buzzing for ~60 seconds and then it shuts off and the ABS light comes on, it means that the ABS system could not be pressurized and the ABS has been disabled. The main cause is a small rubber O-ring (#23) which seals the brake fluid ACCUMULATOR (#2) which is under extremely high pressure. If this O-ring fails brake fluid will leak out and you will see it under the ABS module.
Here is a diagram of the '94-'97 Integra ABS module:
The other primary reason for the ABS light to come on is a faulty wheel sensor (as mentioned).

mine did that once. i checked the fluid and filled it up. Some time it comes on and flashes for a couple o second.
You mean just add fluids to the master cylinder/resevoir? Wouldn't low brake fluids cause the brake light to come on instaed of the ABS light?

the ABS sytem has its own reservoir, fill that one if it is low. If it continues to leak fluid after u fill it, then u need to replace that o-ring. This happened to me, but luckily my friend had an extra abs module in his garage. After I replaced it, everything was good to go.
