ok my car has almost 190,000 and about a month ago it has been difficult to start sometimes. but in the past couple of weeks its been really acting up. i would go to start it and it just cranks. i would wait 10-15mins and jump back in and it would start right up. 1 time after work i get into my car (started fine) and about 5mins into my drive the car dies while i am waiting for a signal light. i tried starting it again but it just cranked. i pushed the car to the side and waited a little and started up again.

ive checked other forums and some people said its my ignition switch. some say its my main relay. ive turn the key onto the "ON" position and i can hear the fuel pump run for 2secs and stop when the car starts up fine. (i havent tried listening when the car wouldnt start)

any suggestions or help would be much appreciated!

 

I think you might have answered your own question? Next thing to ask is, when it dies, what lights are "on", on the dash-oil, alt, cel, ect....
