Icon2 A few important wiring questions B18C (94-97) GSR into 99-00 civic ex

Ok so I've gathered almost all the information for my B18C (94-97) gsr swap into my 2000 Civic EX. But I'm now on my last questions and those happen to be wiring questions. And just to give some more information, this is the engine i'll be ordering. http://www.hmotorsonline.com/shop/sc...age&item=30009. And my first question is.. Since I am ordering this JDM engine, it comes with a JDM wiring harness, will I be able to buy a USDM wiring harness for it so that I can wire it all up to my left drivers side EJ8?

My second question is.. Since i'm doing an engine/ecu/auto to manual swap all in one, will I have to jump wires where the automatic shifter is as I would if I were keeping the same engine and just changing trannys, or would I just basically yank all the wires out of that little area where I'll install the manual shifter?

And my third question is.. If the 94-97 model b18c gsr is OBD1 and my EJ8 2000 civic EX is chassis is OBD2B, will my dashboard and other electronics still work fine or will I have to buy ANY sort of conversion?

And my last question of all if your still reading is.. The Hmotorsonline website says that the engine comes with the P72 ECU which is OBD1 and the JDM wiring harness which I will be replacing with a USDM one, assuming that the OBD1 wiring harness works with my dashboard and other electronics, does that mean that this swap requires just removing old engine/tranny/wiring harness/automatic shifter and just installing the new engine/tranny/wiring harness/shift linkages and the usual clutch master/slave cylinder and pedal assembly? If that's the case then this swap should be a pretty much plug and play deal lol.

Thanks guys any input or reply would help me sooo much right now, i've searched everywhere and cant find any of the exact information I need.

It won't be plug and play exactly. Because your car is OBD2b a few things won't plug in. I'm not sure if the 94-97 JDM B18C is OBD1 or 2. I believe it is OBD1 and if so the following won't plug and play: injectors, alternator, distributor, intake air temperature sensor, CKF sensor (won't matter if you convert to OBD1). You can't use the two piece harness for a USDM B18C as the 96-00 Civic is a one piece so it won't just plug in like the 92-95 Civics.

I would check the FAQ for the write ups on this

Will work.

Read above on the wiring part
