Icon6 '91 CRX SI d15b1 to '00 d16y7

Need to know whether it can be done, how difficult it is, and what the sticky details that I need to look into would be. I've hardly ever touched Hondas and have limited experience with engine swaps as it is but enough aptitude to follow instructions and enough friend support to make it happen. Any info is appreciated.

i did this swap this year make sure you go mpfi and get a y8 z6 or a6 intake manifold

since your going y7 make sure you use z6 or y8 headers they are longer if you use your

stock b1 headers they will sit on the oil pan and shake your exhaust if you have any

other questions shoot me a pm

In terms of just getting the car up and running with the materials from the civic straight to the crx, what problems am I going to have? I'm against a wall and need the transportation asap so right now I'm just looking to solve the immediate complications and worry about the finer details and a better build in the near future. Thanks again.

since the car is mpfi you should be able too use your stock header and intake manifold

just to get it up and running just bolt that **** up to the y7 block

Good to know that it'd be relatively easy to put my '98 D16Y8 into my '88 HF if I ever wanted to (I understand I'd need a cable tranny from an '88-'91 Si though).

Totally okay with that. Thanks.

Still sort of toying with the idea.

Drive-way swapped D16y8 into a DX hatch, it's pretty straight foreward. IAT needs to be relocated, fan switch wires need to be extended, dizzy wiring and injectors, swap drivers side post mount.
couple other little things, but it's an easy swap. i'm so ready for B-series now.
