i recently painted my engine bay, and i removed all the 10mm bolts that is used to hold up the fenders, hood hinges, headlights, and just about any other 10mm bolt in the engine bay.

after i painted it, i was going to reuse the original bolts, but their all mis colored and old looking. so i thought, well i'll paint em. and i went to install em and the paint was chipping

so....


i was at the autoparts store the other day, and i decided to pick up 2 boxes of the various sized bolts and washers that comes in a variety box for "asian" cars.

they look pretty good IMO, but has anyone used any alternative bolts that can be bought in masses?

Grainger or Mcmaster carr.

Bolt boys it too overpriced for my budget.

 

There is a guy here on HT that sells nice anodized washers and whatnots. I believe it is Tegiwa brand or something like that.
