Bisi Clutch (Action Clutch)
I have a bisi 250hp clutch set-up on my h2b. I put the clutch in for about 2 weeks for break in. I took it to the drag strip after that and my first pass i hit the burn out box and the pressure plate broke I had 22x7.5x13 at that point. I contacted bisi and the sent me a new kit. Its been around 9 months now and I didnt drive it but 3 months outta that daily. Well now my clutch is slipping. I never had a problem with my act 6 puck unsprung at all. My car only made 200hp 160trq so the clutch should be able to handle that. I mean if its slipping on hankook street tires I would hate to see what it would do on my new slicks at the track I finally got m&h 23x8x13. I would just like to say I dont think I would ever buy anything else from bisi or action.
Sucks for you, all the people I know running an action aclutch haven't had any problems. They work great, if I didn't have a comp clutch twin I'd probably have a 2md in mine. Keep it up bisi!
I have used action clutchs in the past there good for a stock motors with bolt ons i would say 200hp is right about the max i wanna push too sum people have diffrent luck with it on higher HP applications.
I kind of thought that with Bisi f2b records that it would be good. Also how do you adjust a hydro clutch? As far as I know they dont have any adjustment.
We used and an Action 2md in my buddys teg that made a little over 400whp and ran an 11.7 with 23" slicks with no problems at all. Another car i work on and tune is making about 350whp and pretty much side stepping his action 2md on antilag and 23" slicks. That cdar goes back to the dyno here in a week or so and goin for about 500whp. And got one more that fully built with a topmount gointo hit the dyno lookin for about 500whp and around 320wtq, gonna be launching that one on M&H 24.5"s. No complaints from any of us on the Action stuff.

Get the heavy clutch, my room mate drives his 2md really regularly. They're not all that bad to dd Plus there's another high 500hp sohc here in CO with an action clutch in it.
I've had good success with Action clutches, and i know James (JFK78) in the past has too. Hell the Action 2md he had in his stock sleeve vitara motor at over 600whp i bought used from him and put another 2 seasons on it with my car. Worked great for me at 310ftlb tq.
