Default Tearin it apart this weekend!

I have either a bad head gasket or more likely a cracked head on my F22A1. Does anybody know where this head is prone to crack? I have a tig welder at work, can this be done or does it take some special torch to reach it or something? Then I thought about taking and getting it surfaced. Can anybody see anythink wrong with my way of thinking? Trying to do this on the cheap, it's my commuter car and has 195000 on it. Gets a little better miliage than my 2500 4x4 Duramax. It doesn't smoke and passed a Ca smog test about two months ago. Thanks ahead for any help.

You confirmed the leak? Comp test or leak down......

Unless you over heated it, not prone to cracking.
