How Much?
There is a 1996 honda accord that needs some minor body work including a tail light and front parking light. The guy wants $450 is that about right, should I just jump on this deal or not.
Minor body work and he's asking $450..... Does it have an engine?
I still see 5th gen Accords selling for 2-3k that require more than minor body work. If it runs and isn't full of holes $450 is a steel for a 96.

OK well you neglected to say that it had been in an accident and it was an insurance write off. The front fender isn't a big deal. However, replacing the rear quarter is not what I would consider minor body work.
If you are going to get this make sure you know someone who can properly replace the rear quarter. Find out what they would charge for replacement and a full paint job. If it comes in under what you could buy an Accord of equal condition. I say go for it. If it is going to cost you more to fix the body panels and paint. Then $450 or not, it's not worth it. Only thing that chassis would be good for is a parts car then.
