Car won't start
I bought a 94 civic from a buddy and put it mostly back together (minus power steering) and attempted to start the car. All I got was a click like the battery was dead and the park light went on. The battery is not dead because all the lights stayed on normally when this happened. The car did not crank whatsoever. Any help on what the problem may be would be much appreciated
You said you heard a click when you tried to start it, have you checked the starter? Do you have battery voltage on the "s" wire at the starter when trying to crank?

I just found this in my car and am wondering if it belongs anywhere or if anything is missing. There's alot of empty spots fuze wise and such. And as far as I know there is power to the starter. And I was starting to think maybe what I found is a replacement or belongs somewhere
Is it auto or stick ?
If auto : 1) check solenoid ( car in "N", remove power connector to Distrbtr, remove wire from started solenoid , use jumper wire -20gage will do- from battery to solenoid --- should turn over ---- yes , not starter/. No - replace started or solenoid )
2) check AT neutral switch ( try staring car in N )
3) main relay solder joints
If stick:
1) same as above
2) clutch switch start switch ( the top of the clutch pedal ) look for a plastic piece mounted in the area where the pedal hits the switch --- if it's not there, the switch will not depress, the engine will not start ( fix this by gluing a penny in it's place ..... Total cost of repair - 1¢ : )
3) check main relay ---

If you had battery voltage on the "s" terminal, the small black/white wire at the starter and it's still not turning over you probably need a starter. You can also rule out the Clutch switch because if that was not in place you wouldn't have battery voltage at the starter. You can also rule out the main relay, usually the engine will turn over just not fire up if the main relay is the cause.
