Im just wondering how much time would you actually shave off by swapping your H22 motors tranny to a B series tranny. I know they have better ratios so i kinda wanna kno the difference from only and just swapping the trannys.

3-5 tenths has been documented with a GSR B trans

They seem to free up power as well. Less parasitic drag.

I will say putting new tranny, mid plate and mount and brakets and shave the block to clear axel it will take me 2.5 hours and u will see a big diference from h tranny to the b series one

to me its much way better to shifting from H TO B tranny,
i did that to my setup and putting stock GSR tranny with Cuff, i droped my ET from 9.84 sec @234KM . to 9.61 sec @226KM. ((not ful pass))

The main benefit is the availability of different ratios and the billet case. It depends on how much power you're making, tire size, etc. for what ratios you need. Please email me, we can figure out what will work best for you. As far as dropping 3-5 tenths, that could be the case if you have the wrong gearing and we get you into the correct gearing. There are lots of different gearing options in both the H and B series trans.

thanks for the info. I admire that honda tried with the h motor tranny like dual cone synchros and some close gears but it sucks finding out that theyre glitchy and notchy to shift and the 1-2 gear rpm drop below vtec -_-. I kno someone with a stock gsr and i hate that he beats me at the tracks with my stock 5th gen h22 even when im making more power. i kno for a fact that the trannys are a big factor on why he beats me. That gave me the thought of mayb i could beat him if i swap my tranny for something like his

You could still do it. Think outside the box and make it happen.

You mind breaking down your slip? That's the exact setup I have and roughly the same power and weight. Curious how I nailed a 12.24 at such a low MPH (108MPH) When everyone else I see running low 12s are in the 110-112 range.

my trap speed varies by how i launch and if i burn out alot then my speeds usually slower. also if i shift later in the revs it goes up. mayb you can compare his and your redlines
