Im looking for your guys opinions on a clutch for an all motor b series setup making about 200-220 hp. It needs to be somewhat driveable since I still drive the car occasionally on the streets. Ive used alot of act products in the past but Im just wanting other peoples opinions.
So if you can tell me what clutch you would reccomend and why
TIA

I've got a 215whp/190wtq all motor car, and the comp stg 3 with the kevlar segmented disk. I love it, and i've broken alot of others....
Straps and rivets are beefy, very few oem parts reused.

I currently have action clutch in my AM car.. that i daily drive. To all my customers I've had, i've recommend and installed a Action clutch. Prices are good and the things last. Infact, the clutch is custom tailored to your car and driving habits, not alot of people can say that. All clutches are Made to order..
I daily drive a stage 7, 6 puck unsprung clutch setup.. and the disc?? Still looks new. My setup is a 84.5x89 13.0CR b20vtec.

comp clutch is also a good company to look into.
I used Action in my D. It worked well. I have since switched to Comp this year and it seems to work better. Stage 4/5 Too much clutch for a 160whp car unless you are launching @ 8200+. In the pits , its a dream to drive.
I had a clutch masters fx300 in my old 220whp AM GSR which also served as a DD and I never once had a problem of any kind. My current car I had a clutch masters fx400 which I never had a problem until my flywheel bolts backed out and it chewed up my disc. Now im running a rhinopac sr200 and it seems solid so far...
to be honest at that power level you can easily go with any stage 1 clutch (exedy, clutchmasters, action etc.)...OEM clutch will hold between 165-180 ft./lbs. of torque so if you were to add the stronger pressure plate, and something other then organic material you will not have anything to worry about at that power
