Sticking with the 26s? or staying on small tire?
What is the consensus these days with classes all over the country. I know there is some talks with IFO leaning towards small tire for the big classes and making 26s compete vs awd, etc. for 2012. What about Outlaw? Are people just saving their cars for the 26" tire setup and special events.
The SFWD (small tire) is getting popular again these days so I know some are sticking to that. Just curious who's doing what and anyone have plans to be able to switch back and forth.
I know its different classes and events for all the regions so I'm sure we're going to get a wide range of inputs. I personally still like the 26" tire, but it just all depends on what everyone will have in my area. I wouldnt want to be on a small tire when the whole field is in 26s.

We have over 75 hits on our GForce trans now and still in mint condition. 24.5 is a very forgiving tire compared to the 26's
On another car (La Carla) the customer actually bought 2 GForce trans, and the first one is still in the car and that one is still mint. They have a brand new spare trans that's been sitting around for a year now. lol

Sticking to a 26" cause I can't afford to go back down to a 24.5, there is just to much to change. Down here there are about the same amount of small tires guy's as well as big tire, so really doesn't matter.
I'm staying on 26's. I could care less what everyone else does. I don't want to have to change out my FD, so I will just stick to my 26's. My axles hate em, but whatever.
Again with the heads up...
For IFO 2012, FWD class limited to 25" tire.
26" tire guys will have to race in FIP.
Same payouts for either class: 1st $1000, R/U $400, Semi 1 $100, Semi2 $100
