when doing an b18a swap in a 1990 Si what harness do i use, the one from the b18a or the one off my d16a6???

 

depends on what ecu you run

 

you use your si harness... unless you changed your car to obd1... also use your injectors and resistor box..

 

i'll be running the LS ecu

 

does anyone have a site that outlines the wiring of the LS swap, im getting my motor monday i gotta be prepared help me!!

 

Since it's the B18A (OBD-0) Keep your Si wiring harness.

As far as I know, all of the wiring should work with the B18A's injectors, ecu & distributor.

I've never done the swap though... Check out http://www.hasport.com they do a little outline of most B-series swaps.

hasport dosent have a good layout of the wiring it just tells a couple things in one sentence, anyone whos done the swap help me.

 

Well if the b18a is all obd-0 stuff.. you use the injectors off that along with your si harness and the Ls computer... then you drop the motor in with some sort of mount kit... there should be no wiring with the ls... especially since you have an si.. theres all the info u need
