How do I replace a ball joint?
This is a 2002 Si. I was told some of the suspension is different on the earlier years EP3.
Just looking for any tips on replacing it. I guess more on getting it out and then pressing it in. And is the ball joint the same as the non-Si's?

but when i was putting new ones in..they wouldnt go on all the way. i had to keep at it for a little while because i didnt want to hit it in and damage anything else
what balljoint? there are lower balljonts located in the knuckel and tie rod end balljoints on the tie rod/steering arms....
Sweet! Thanks. I was under the impression it was pressed in and I would need a press. I have a 188k on it and something is rattling pretty bad right around 55mph. I recently replaced my struts so I know they are good. If this doesn't fix it I'll probably replace the tie rod end or control arm.

I feel it through the floor and through the pedal too. Not the steering wheel though. The other ball joint was replaced when the clutch was replaced. The ball joint fell apart during the disassembly process when replacing the clutch. I got the new ball joint so I'm going to replace and see. At least they'll both be new. Can't hurt w/188k miles.
Replaced it and rattle gone. Here is a picture of knuckle off the car for anyone to see. Big whoop I know. Your cool.
To get it out just took a socket and knocked it out after heating up around the ball joint.
To get the new in basically same thing. Used a piece of old exhaust pipe. Put a little grease on it to ease it in. Had to put a set screw in where the grease fitting was cause the ball joints Advance sells come with grease fittings and they end up hitting the axle where the speed sensor reads.
